All health benefits are effective on the first day of the month after completion of 30 days of service.

MEDICAL

  • Employees are offered the choice between three Cigna plans offered at low cost to the employee with dependent coverage available. Both of our PPO Plan offers low co-pays and low deductibles and our HDHP (High Deductible Health Plan) is offered along with an HSA (Health Savings Account) that Naturipe Farms helps to fund. Naturipe Farms does offer Domestic Partner coverage and all plans include prescription drug coverage.

DENTAL

  • Dental coverage for employee and dependents is at no cost through Principal.

VISION

  • Vision coverage for employee and dependents is available for purchase through VSP.

FLEXIBLE SPENDING ACCOUNTS

Both Medical and Dependent Care Spending accounts are available for employees to defer on a pre-tax basis and reimburse for eligible expenses.

LIFE/ACCIDENTAL DEATH & DISMEMBERMENT INSURANCE

  • Coverage of $50,000 is provided for each employee at no cost through Principal.

LONG TERM DISABILITY

  • Long Term Disability coverage for employees is provided at no cost through Northwestern Mutual.

SHORT TERM DISABILITY

  • Short Term Disability coverage for employees is available for purchase through Principal.

VOLUNTARY TERM LIFE INSURANCE

  • Additional voluntary term life insurance can be purchased for both employees and dependents through Principal.

SUPPLEMENTAL BENEFITS

  • In conjunction with Colonial Life Insurance, Naturipe Farms offers Accident Insurance, Disability Insurance, Cancer Insurance, Critical Illness Insurance, Hospital Confinement Insurance and Universal Life Insurance. All coverages are paid via payroll deduction and most are offered on a pre-tax basis and available to both employees and their families.

LONG TERM CARE INSURANCE

  • Long term care insurance can be purchased for both employees and spouses through Northwestern Mutual.

401(k) PLAN

  • A 401(k) savings plan that allows you to save a portion of your pre-tax income for retirement is offered. Employees may contribute any amount of their pre-tax or post-tax income (Roth contribution) up to the federal limits and can begin contributing after completion of thirty (30) days of service. Naturipe® Farms provides a safe harbor non-elective contribution of 4% of your total compensation after completion of one (1) year of service which is immediately 100% vested.

EDUCATION REIMBURSEMENT

  • The program allows employees who have completed at least six (6) months of service to take approved, work-related courses and receive up to $4,000 reimbursement per calendar year.
